Our sermon for the last Sunday of Easter was by Reverend John Fehrmann. He is a mission speaker who is President of Confessional Lutheran Education Foundation. In this sermon, he talks about how you and I are God’s gift to Jesus. How ironic. As Jesus prayed in the garden, he wanted to be relieved of the terrible burden, but he gave himself up for us saying to God, “not my will but your will be done”. The danger is, as a special gift we may focus on ourselves instead of Jesus. This clip also includes a beautiful flute solo by Pat Ebersberger and guest organist Bill Braun.
